Wilshire HOA meeting 7pm May 3, 2010

Present: Incoming president Doug Mangini

Incoming VP Ursula Burnham

Trustee David Murphy

Trustee Laurelee Graham

 Current business:

1)  Dues update: We currently have 5 homeowners with outstanding dues. Doug/Christy will post notice on house and send email. One home may be in foreclosure. Owner is working with board on back dues and keeping house. Christy will update bank.

2)  Annual Wilshire Yard sale: Ursula and Laurelee will get banner and set date for late July 2010. Jill will post dates on website and mailboxes in early July.

Laurelee will email homeowners to poll interest. Dates will be a Friday and Saturday; most probably last weekend in July. Discussed allowing “free” items to be placed at top of cul de sacs during sale but removed by end of sale Saturday afternoon by owner.

3) Parking: There have been complaints regarding vehicles parked near entrances. Parking between stop signs is illegal. Doug will speak with affected homeowners to seek best solution for all.

4) Detention pond: Board was contacted by city of Bothell regarding maintenance of retaining/detention pond. Board will clarify needs with city and seek quotes for work in timely manner to complete work in next 60 days. It has been over 10 years since any major upkeep has been done. May include up to three drains and repair of surrounding fencing as well as debris removal.

 5) Contracted landscaper will be weeding entrances and all circulars this month and monthly through the fall season.. He has set fertilizer in appropriate areas and posted same for safety. Ursula Burnham is the board contact for landscaper/maintenance. Please direct inquiries to Ursula. She will review with Paul Lucchese.

 Next meeting: Second week of July. Advisory will come 2 weeks prior from Doug. Meeting adjourned 8:30 pm.
